Launch & Linger does not run third-party advertising trackers, social pixels, or behavioral profiling. We collect only what's necessary to run the site and the newsletter.
Newsletter signups
If you submit your email through the newsletter form, that email is sent to our lead-capture endpoint at leads.peaklineholdings.co (operated by Peakline Holdings, our parent network's parent), where it's stored in a Cloudflare D1 database with the source tag launchandlinger. We use it to send you the dispatch and nothing else. You can unsubscribe any time by replying to any newsletter or emailing hello@launchandlinger.com. We do not sell, rent, or share email addresses.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-respecting (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no user-level data). It tells us how many people visited a page; it does not tell us who they are.
Affiliate click tracking
When you click an outbound /go/<slug> link, the click is logged in Cloudflare's request analytics. The destination partner (Booking.com, Amazon, etc.) sees you arrived from a Launch & Linger affiliate ID and may set their own cookies under their privacy policy. We have no insight into your activity on the partner's site beyond what they report back as a commission.
Cookies
We don't set first-party cookies. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) for bot mitigation; that cookie does not track behavior.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
California & EU residents
If you are a California (CCPA/CPRA) or EU/UK (GDPR) resident, you have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (effectively just your email address if you've subscribed). Email hello@launchandlinger.com from the address in question and we'll process the request promptly.
